About the Winemaker
We are fortunate enough to have partnered with Ron Bunnell to make our wines. Ron graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Masters's degree in enology. He worked for several large wineries In California, including Beringer and Kendall Jackson. He then moved to the state of Washington where he became the head red winemaker for Chateau Ste. Michelle. After that, he decided to go out on his own, with his wife, Susan (a noted restauranteur at Chandon in Napa, CA), and founded Bunnell Family Cellar in Prosser. His wines have won many distinguished awards. His wife, Susan, runs the incomparable Wine ‘O Clock restaurant in Vintner’s Village, Prosser.
